February 27

Went to St. Honoré this am for brunch with Corri followed by a photo safari to Bishop's Close. It was good for the soul and I feel renewed. In a break from the photo-a-day format there follows one pic from each location.

February 23

Sierra and I went to Starbuck's after school and had Vanilla Bean Cream Frapps and cupcakes. We chatted about this and that, and had a pretty good time. Note the smile...that's a teenage girl hanging out with her mom and smiling! Please ignore the Cleopatra eyeliner...we're working on that.

February 22

I had a pretty killer headache today. I had taken some Excedrin and gone to bed for a nap when Skye came running up the stairs to tell me there was a rainbow! My head hurt so bad I couldn't bring myself to go see it so I asked her to draw me a picture of it. Instead she grabbed my camera and took a pic of it for me...isn't she sweet? When I told her it was beautiful she said "I know how to take great pictures, don't I mom?...I get it from you!" Gotta love her!

February 18

Abner/Baxter.He came with Mike and keeps to himself mostly, although he's relaxing a bit now. The other day I saw him playing with a ball! He's Abby's brother...can you tell?

Heart Day!

We went to a party at Alan and Bev's tonight and had a lot of fun! I love this picture of the little ones playing with bubbles...it makes me happy!

At last...Raptor Road Trip 2009! We had a great time even though we were very late ( we had to go to an immunization clinic first and it took FOREVER!). For the first time since we started participating the weather was gorgeous! We had our own binocs this year...we won them at last year's roadtrip, remember? This is Skye's fav kind of outing so she was in seventh heaven! Sierra was a little grumpy, but she had just gotten 4 shots so we forgive her!

I met Corri at St. Honoré for brunch today followed by a stroll down Headlee Walkway with our cams. My favorite shot of the day was of my delicious cup of tea reflecting the sign on the window.

Woke up this morning to a heavy frost so as soon as the girls were off to school I ran outside to try to get some good macros. This is probably my fav of the bunch...this is the heather that grows next to our driveway.

I took the girls to the new Sonic Drive-in for lunch after church today. They had never been to one and didn't realize you couldn't go inside to eat! We were squished together in the cab of the truck eating our tater tots and laughing. We had fun and now I'm addicted to their cherry limeade!
